The Honeymoon's over!

So I decided to give this blog thing a try.

The wedding was an incredible tornado of activity and people. I've been trying to journal about it, so maybe later it will make it on here. Thanks to everyone who came or congratulated us. It really meant a lot!

Clint and I just got back from our honeymoon a few days ago. It was amazing! The Smokey Mountains are so beautiful. The weather was incredible. We spent hours on the porch of our log cabin just taking it all in. And I must say that, at the risk of sounding like a redneck, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede was awesome! The dinner was fantastic and the show was unbelievable. I'm talking long horns and trick riders. It kind of made me want to be a trick rider. I didn't get to see a black bear (despite my attempts to lure them to our yard with bacon grease), but we did see some wild turkeys on our driveway. I guess that will have to do.

Now that we're back, there's just the house project to worry about. Wish me luck with that!

I am so glad you didn't get sick. Tucker was diagnosed with strep throat, antibiotics and the whole nine yards. Reid also got sick with strep. I was so worried that you or your hubby would be ill on your honeymoon. Thank you for letting Tucker be a part of your special day, see you at Christmas!
