Realizing Some Things

So this week has been semi-enlightening. This week at work, I realized that I really like teaching beginning readers. I mean a lot! I wouldn't ever be able to teach kindergarten, but I really enjoy beginning readers. I also realized that I may not be as mean of a mom as I have thought I was going to be in the future (no baby news here, people!). I have been able given hundreds of times to exercise my calm, reasoning voice when I really want to yell.

I also have found out that I'll just be working mornings in July. And I'm ok with that. I'll get a chance to have a decent workout and get to sleep in a little later. I'll get more time to work on my jewelry and spend time with my dogs. And get to read grown up books! Yay! I will make ample use of our back deck and hopefully will be rockin' some tan lines soon!

I just feel ready for it all. I feel that when school starts, I'll be able to be a better teacher. I'll be able to be kind of relaxed when school starts. We'll see how that all works out!
