I have a friend who has a daughter who loves butterflies. She is cute enough to convince me to help her chase them before.
Those were some fast butterflies!
Since then, I have noticed when I see a pretty (slow) butterfly and I sometimes mention it to my friend to tell her daughter.
Lately, I've been seeing tons of butterflies around my dogs' kennels. So I finally slow down enough to watch them for a while.
What I saw was disturbing.
The butterflies seemed attracted to the dog poop (I took time to watch BEFORE I cleaned the kennels). I looked over to where we dump the offending business and sure enough, butterfly city!
I had my suspicions about butterflies but I did a little research and found out that yes, butterflies love poop!
I told my friend that she should have her kids out to play with the puppies and catch some butterflies.
Cause Lord knows we have plenty of butterfly bait around!
