New Pants

I know this blog title is making you curious. On Saturday while at my fave place to shop, Wally World, I picked up a new pair of workout pants. I made a big change and did not go for the baggy sweatpants. I went for the yoga pants. Most of you should know that I'm not a big fan of wearing tight pants, but I was ready to try something new for my frequent gym trips.

They are A. MAZ. ING! I don't know what it is, but they are so much more comfortable than my wind pants I was wearing. They are bootcut and just loose enough that you can't see every fat dimple on my legs. Plus, I feel really cool in them. I feel like a workout person! I don't look like someone new to the gym now!

I think they even inspire me to workout harder. Come on, people are watching me now that I'm a "workout person". How do they know? They see the pants. I have to live up to them!

So I had to go back by Wally World this morning to get another pair this morning.

Speaking of working out...I've been hard at it. Now that tutoring is over, I've been trying to go and get some cardio in after school. Yep, you heard it right, I am now a twice a day gym-goer. You can just call me Gayle. I am getting stronger, though. I've already been able to increase the weights I do reps with. And I got this fabulous app on my iPhone that helps me keep track of calories and exercise so I'm staying on track. And it's not killing me! Woo Hoo!

Good for you! And I'm gonna have to check out these pants. I'm in need of something other than the basketball shorts I always wear. I just wish I was as dedicated.

I lift weights in the morning Monday through Friday and on at least 3 afternoons I go and do cardio (usually riding the bike because I hate running).
