Snow Day

I'm not usually one to complain about a snow day, but the one we had on Friday was not necessary. I got the call that we were not going to be in session at 6:00 am. As I was pulling into the YMCA parking lot. In Boonville.

I had gotten to Boonville from Fayette, taking the less traveled roads without them being plowed in a 2wd vehicle at 5:30 in the morning. I think the buses could have made it.

We could have had a late start at least. We're starting to get past the "Oh yeah! A snow day!" feeling and getting into the "Oh crap! We're going to be in school into June!" feeling.

And the roads were fine by 9:00.
