At the beginning of the school year, I felt like my plate was full.
Really full.
Overflowing even.
I was getting into the 3 nights per week of volleyball season, having to grade loads of homework, taking care of 12 puppies, finishing up my internships, preparing for my last class of my Specialist degree, and trying to keep my house clean and meals made.
I was stressed!
I remember talking to my parents on the phone and saying I didn't know how I was going to get through it all. And add trying to get pregnant to the mix? That is a recipe for crazy, my friends!
Their advice was the same. Just take it one thing at a time.
And I did.
In a few weeks, the puppies were gone.
Then volleyball season was ending.
Then my evenings cleared up and grading didn't seem so overwhelming.
Then my classes came to an end.
And I finally finished my reflection papers, took my last final, and passed my capstone exam (which I was stressing about).
And then I had a freakin' drink!
Now, I'm working on catching up on all the stuff I've been slacking on over the last two weeks. Like cleaning my house, folding laundry, and grading homework.
But I feel sooooooo much better (despite having my second cold in two weeks and after having a touch of the flu) now that it's all done! And having this degree will open up so many more possible positions in education for me.
So, in two weeks, you will see me walking across the stage. I might even cartwheel I'll be so happy!
She wasn't so Scary.
