I'm a Real Housewives junkie. I'll watch every episode that is put out from any city. I love the popular ones like Jersey and Beverly Hills and I even loyally sat through DC and the first season of Miami. That's dedication!
I love watching Real Housewives, talking about Real Housewives, reading about Real Housewives, etc... I'm so into Beverly Hills that I started to watch the E! interview with Leann Rimes and had to change the channel because she disgusts me. Yeah, I'm team Brandi!
I was watching the new episode of Miami tonight and caught myself crying. One of the ladies on the show is struggling with fertility. Lately, they've shown a lot of her story and I respect her so much for being able to share it. Hearing anyone's story gives me hope or reminds me that my situation could be worse. But, being able to see Lisa's face when she talks about her struggles, and hear her voice break when she's emotional makes me really understand her story.
The episode tonight showed Leah talking with Lisa about her fertility struggles. Leah's advice to her was great. She had her own struggles with getting pregnant and I got a glimpse into her story. It made these two some of my favorite housewives.
It also shows that fertility struggles don't care if you're rich or poor, what nationality you are, or anything like that. It happens everywhere. It makes me feel like less of a freakshow.
