Then I got to work and reality hit like a ton of bricks. I pretty much wished I had stayed home. My kids were wound for sound, one student told me he was done apologizing for the year, and some of the people who are supposed to take care of kids who are done apologizing for the year just sucked at life today. And we got to cram all of the Presidential Fitness tests into this afternoon because "someone" forgot to do it.
I was happy to get home and get my last Power Point presentation copied to a CD for my students. As I was sitting here, listening to it thunder and cringing from the lightning, Clint said to me, "Do you realize that this is officially our last night just you and me?"
Dang! He's right! We'll have the embryos tomorrow, but those are two new little people in the making!
So we had to document this occasion with a picture.
Totally goofy, but totally us!
Tomorrow, I just have to survive 1/2 a day of school with kids and parents then it's off for the transfer! I'd say I'm too excited to sleep, but I happen to be exhausted so tomorrow morning can hurry up and get here!
